End of Service Gratuity (ESB / সার্ভিস বেনিফিট) Calculator

Compute your statutory gratuity under Saudi Labor Law (Articles 84–85) or UAE Labor Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 33) — including the resignation reduction tiers.

About this tool

This calculator computes your end-of-service gratuity under Saudi Labor Law (Articles 84-85) or UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 — applying the correct resignation tiers for each law and showing the taka equivalent of what you are owed. Everything runs in your browser — your numbers never leave this device.

Resignation tiers: under 2 years = no gratuity; 2–5 years = one-third; 5–10 years = two-thirds; 10+ years = full entitlement. Termination or contract completion always pays 100%.
If your employer refuses: file a labor dispute on Saudi Qiwa (ক্বীওয়া) or through UAE MOHRE. Unpaid gratuity is released under the Wage Protection System (WPS) rules.

How the gratuity is actually counted

Under Saudi Labor Law Article 84, a terminated worker earns half a month's basic wage for each of the first five years of service and a full month's basic wage for every year after that. The calculator applies those fractions automatically, and the resignation tiers — nothing under two years, one-third between two and five, two-thirds between five and ten, full entitlement beyond ten — only reduce the award when you leave by choice; termination and contract completion always pay one hundred percent.

Two details decide real money: the award is computed on basic salary, not gross — housing and transport allowances stay out unless the contract explicitly folds them in — and the wage counted is your last basic salary, not the rate you started on. If the final settlement is short or delayed, raise it on Qiwa's labour dispute channel before leaving the country, because gratuity claims are paid out under Wage Protection System rules and travel documents cannot be held hostage to it.
