Business Days Calculator — Bangladesh and International

Count business days between two dates or add business days to a date, with the Bangladesh Friday-Saturday weekend or the Western Saturday-Sunday weekend.

Add or subtract business days

How it works

Pick the weekend that matches your calendar: Friday-Saturday is the official weekend in Bangladesh; Saturday-Sunday is standard in Canada, the US, Europe and the Gulf.

The counter skips the weekend days and reports the working days between your two dates. Like the Days Between tool, the start day itself is not counted.

The add and subtract mode is handy for service deadlines, for example "within 5 business days" for a visa, bank or government office in either weekend system.

Frequently asked questions

Is Friday a working day in Bangladesh?

No. Since 2013 the official government weekend in Bangladesh is Friday and Saturday, so this calculator treats them as non-working days by default. Switch the weekend selector to Saturday-Sunday for Western calendars.

Does it count public holidays?

No. It counts working days excluding weekends only. Public holidays like Eid, Pohela Boishakh or Canada Day are counted as working days unless you check the calendar yourself.

What does "within 5 business days" mean?

It means five working days skipping the weekend. Enter today as the From date, choose Add, and the calculator shows the exact date the deadline falls on.

Can it count backwards?

Yes. Choose Subtract and enter how many business days back you want to go from your date.
