How many days do I need for Canadian citizenship?
1,095 days of physical presence in the 5 years before you apply, with tax filings in at least 3 of those years. Use the PR & Citizenship Days Tracker above to see your exact eligible date.
Does time outside Canada still count toward PR status?
Only partly. To keep PR you must meet the 730-day residency obligation in every 5-year window, but days abroad only count toward citizenship in limited cases (accompanying a Canadian-citizen spouse or working for a Canadian employer abroad).
Can I renew my Bangladesh passport from Canada?
