Saudi Labor Law Protection & Qiwa
Qiwa & employer transfer SOP (Articles 77/84)
You can transfer sponsorship without your current Kafeel's approval when:
- Wages unpaid for 3 consecutive months on Mudad (WPS)
- Sponsor failed to renew your Iqama within 3 days of expiry
- You served a 90-day formal electronic notice via the Qiwa portal after completing a 1-year contract
- The establishment falls into the Red / unfavorable Nitaqat category
End of Service Gratuity (Saudi Labor Law Art. 84)
Half a month's basic wage per year for the first 5 years, a full month per year thereafter — overtime, food and housing cannot be excluded if listed as entitlements in your attested contract.
Mudad (WPS) vs Hundi warning
