Passport & NID Renewal Planner

Enter your document date and see how many safe travel days remain under the six-month rule, when to start the renewal, and what to keep ready — e-passport or NID, from any consulate.

How it works

Pick passport or NID and enter the key date.

For passports you get the days until expiry.

Frequently asked questions

When should I renew my Bangladesh passport from abroad?

Start nine to twelve months before expiry. Consular processing plus delivery can take weeks, and many airlines refuse boarding when less than six months of validity remains.

What is the six-month passport rule?

Most countries require your passport to stay valid for at least six months beyond your entry date. The planner marks the date after which your passport is no longer travel-safe.

Can I renew my e-passport at the embassy?

Yes. Bangladesh embassies and consulates accept e-passport renewal applications; check the e-passport portal and your mission's page before travelling.

Does an NID expire?

No, but corrections and reissues have processing windows and appointments. Enter the appointment date to count down to it and keep your documents scanned.
