Foreign currency above the USD 5,000-equivalent per person must be declared at the red channel on arrival; amounts below that move freely. Declare when in doubt — penalties apply to concealment, not to honest declaration.
Which line do I use at immigration with an NVR stamp?
NVR holders and Bangladeshi passport holders use the nationals lane at HSIA; foreign-visa holders use the visitors lane. E-passport holders can often clear through the e-gates instead of the counter.
Can I use the duty calculator as proof at customs?
